APPS Europe updates on Research and Education
APPS Europe is delighted to share some updates on Research and Education.
Our very distinguished member, Professor Raheel Nawaz, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Staffordshire University, met with Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi last week.
Prof Nawaz, who is among the top-10 most cited scholars in the world in Applied AI, Digital Transformations, and Educational Data Science, presented his latest book, Visual Pollution: Concepts, Practices and Management Framework. Prof Nawaz discussed the future of Higher Education and Digital Technologies in Pakistan.
Dr Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan thanked Prof Nawaz, for his services to Pakistan and congratulated him on his global achievements. Dr Alvi mentioned that he enjoyed Prof Nawaz’s recent TEDx talk on how giving and happiness are intrinsically linked.
