MUHAMMAD YASEEN PhD:
Yaseen is currently working as Director of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) at Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He has over 25 years of experience of working in this field.
He obtained his primary nursing qualification from LNH, Karachi in 1995 and was the first nurse from South Asia to pass the American and Canadian Board Exam in Infection Control in 2001.
In 2003, Yaseen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Infection Control from the UK and then moved to the USA to complete his Masters in Healthcare Administration and later a PhD in IPC from South Africa.
He has vast international experience of working in the Middle East as well as in the UK.
Yaseen has also worked as an IPC advisor for the World Health Organisation (WHO) in east meditranian region.
He has published a number of research papers in international scientific journals and presented many at international conferences in the Middle East, South Africa, USA and UK.
GULNAZ TARIQ:
Gulnaz is the President of the World Union of Wound Healing Society (WUWHS) and CEO of International interprofessional Wound Care Group (IIWCG).
She has been working as Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Nursing at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi. Some of the key initiatives she has introduced at this hospital include diabetic foot prevention program and pressure ulcer prevention program.
Gulnaz is the Founder and Course Director of the Ostomy Care and Management (OCM). She has over 20 publications to her name and is Co-author of a chapter in Chronic Wound Care Textbook (5th edition). She has been organising annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference for the past 15 years.
As a wound care educator, clinician and researcher she has been a key note speaker and an international authority in this field. She was appointed as Course Co-Director by University of Toronto for International interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) in UAE.
In 2021 Gulnaz was appointed as Clinical Advisor for DEBRA Pakistan.
SARFRAZ MASIH:
Sarfraz is currently working as Associate Professor & Lead of Outreach Activities at Lahore School of Nursing, The University of Lahore (UOL), Pakistan.
He completed his basic nursing education in 2000 from the School of Nursing, Liaquat National Hospital and Bachelors of Nursing in 2005 and Masters Nursing in 2008 from Aga Khan University, Karachi. He is a PhD Scholar from Asia -E- University, Malaysia.
During his professional career he has worked in the capacity of Vice Principal, Principal and Lead Researcher in both private and public sectors. He has served at the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and various other international nursing organisations for over 10 years.
He led the Masters in Nursing Program from 2013-2021 at Dow University of Health Sciences and has been an External Member of the Nursing Board of Studies at four leading universities. He has also been an Advisory Board Member for the International Academic Nursing Alliance (IANA) and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) which is the 2nd largest nursing society in the world.
Sarfraz is an International Board Member of Nurses Christian Fellowship International (NCFI) from 2016-2024.
He is one of the Thesis Reviewers for the Masters in Nursing Program at leading universities in Pakistan and an Editor for Nursing & Midwifery Journal of Pakistan.
He has won various awards in teaching, research & publications and has been invited as guest speaker at national and international level.
